Hope On the Stage

If you know me at all you know I love Kpop. It is something I am very passionate about. The reason I got into photography in the first place is because of it. I enjoyed looking at all the concepts in their albums, magazine covers, and most importantly the concert photos. I was inspired by the industry to pick up a camera and try my own hand at making my own art I could share. However, concert photography, more specifically Kpop, is what I WANT to do.

I had the privilege of getting these stunning shots at @uarmyhope Hope On The Stage Concert at the BMO stadium. Hoseok (J-hope) has been my favorite member of the band BTS since I got into Kpop in 2017. Hoseok was able to become on of the record breaking artist for Lollapalooza back in 2022. Now as the members are currently exploring their solo projects, he got to tour the world on his very own solo tour which also broke records.

Starting out in a dance group called Neroun, Jhope joined BigHit Entertainment as a trainee. Once he debuted he still shared his love for dance on lives with thousands of fans. These lives were named Hope on the Street. It has been an honor to watch those lives become such a grand project to this tour named after his past.

While it wasn't planned, I am so glad I was able to bring in a camera and had the perfect seat to capture these moments from his concert. So I am very excited to share Hope On The Stage Project.
